Company History

CDR Equipment is a company with a close family heritage.  Run by the Busscher family from Holland, Michigan, CDR has grown from one small store in Holland, to a corporation with four strong stores serving the West Michigan area.

Chicago Drive Rentals was founded by Doug Busscher in 1983 as a small rental shop on Chicago Drive, in Holland. 

In 1996, Chicago Drive Rentals opened its second store on 84th street in Byron Center.  Chicago Drive Rentals then changed its name to CDR Equipment, Inc, representing the initials of its old name.

Approximately one year later, in 1997, a third store was opened in Allegan on Lincoln Road.

In 2001, CDR opened its fourth store on Lincoln Street in Grand Haven.

With four stores in West Michigan, CDR Equipment has created an efficient network to bring the best possible equipment to its customers at an affordable price.  For more information on each individual store, click on one of the four store buttons at the top of the screen.
